It wouldn’t be much of a project without an actual project, now would it?
We created the blogger project for two reasons: 1) to create a community where bloggers could access resources, learn from each other and grow our group as a whole and 2) to show you just how we’re doing it.
We could have just reported on the latest trends in the blogging world, but we figured if we were going to talk the talk, we better walk the walk.
We thought about only reporting on the blogs that we run individually, but we are 2-5 years into those journeys so all of that beginner information that was so pivotal in our growth has long since been forgotten. It was important for us to show all of you what really goes into getting a blog off the ground, from the beginning.
What is The Project?
The project is another blog that we run called SHEuncovered. It is a women’s lifestyle blog focused on beauty, style, and small DIY projects to help inspire women to be their sophisticated, happy and elegant (SHE) selves.
SHEuncovered serves two purposes. 1) We are both young females who love cooking, crafting and all things girly and we wanted a place to share that and 2) We are tracking and reporting everything on the growth of SHEuncovered to be reported here on The Blogger Project.
We are sharing everything from how we chose the name to monetizing to what techniques are working to extend our reach.
What are The Project Reports?
Once a month we report on the growth and analytics of SHEuncovered. You are able to follow along with our journey as we learn what techniques work and which ones to ditch.
We are exposing our traffic, income, expenditures and tips and tricks to blogging as a business. We are highlighting our successes but we are also very open about our failures. As you’ll come to see it is a marathon, not a sprint.
